Several members of our lodge have spent the last 4 weekends at the Milton Keynes Hospital in ward 4. Sorry but we were not there for any medical care, but were decorating the whole ward for the children on respite care from cancer. The nurses on the ward have sent in a thank you card thanking all who helped. There were 2 people who helped us out who were not members of the Order and our thanks go to them. I would also like to thank Brewers who supplied some of the decorating tools and brushes etc. The members gave up their weekends (some had a little grumble) but turned up anyway and we all had an enjoyable time and a few laughs. We will be back in the New Year to finish painting the side wards once the tea and coffee have been replenished.

Did you know that three of our members, Bro Dave Fitch KOM PPGP, Bro Clive Hind KOM & Bro Ian Crome CP visited the Frederick Locke - Trinidad Lodge No 8153, at Hamworthy, Poole, Dorset, on Wednesday 14 November 2007.

They had a great time, and when Bro Dave Fitch KOM PPGP took the Chair, I am afraid that did bring the house down, for he extracted a sure way of bringing them to our Lodge for a return visit.
